An avid media specialist, Michelle studied game theory as a part of her Master’s thesis and enjoys using this knowledge daily to empower students, teachers and librarians to create dynamic interactive learning experiences. Michelle is a qualified practicing teacher with eleven years experience teaching students 2-70 years old. Michelle is currently contracted to an International School as a STEAM teacher to Years 6-9, Computing teacher to Year 5 and a Teacher Librarian to Toddlers to Year 9.
Acutely aware of the need to apply technological innovation to education, Michelle has experience running programs as a commercial  enterprise. She had two locations Shop 8 a MakerSpace in Sydney NSW and Innovation Hub  in Nepal. Currently her programs are being developed in China and to date have been taught at Universities.  Her innovative and collaborative  MakerSpace blends traditional arts with digital technology and is an extension from her original Pop Up MakerSpace that was in demand for three years at various locations across Sydney and interstate conferences.
Michelle finds her charity work most rewarding and is establishing a format to role this out regularly. Over the past four years she has donated equipment to various organisations that work with children.
